Meet Hillery

Have you had the feeling that your frequency is buried by old patterns that don’t reflect who you really are now?  Guiding you to discover the medicine within you is my purpose.  My toolbox is overflowing with simple hacks and skills to help you feel better now.

Healthy Aging Expert & Holistic Health Coach

I’m passionate about healthy aging and the tools that holistic medicine gives us for living well in all the chapters of our lives.

We need help to make habit and lifestyle changes that last. The popular medical models are great if you need a new organ or joint, but they fall short in offering tools for prevention and repair.

Chronic and metabolic illness require habit and lifestyle changes in order to get relief from the symptoms.

After nearly 2 decades in the healing arts and having a full time clinical practice for 13 years, I see the gaps that need filled for meaningful living.

I see your True Nature and show you how to identify your strengths through self-study and inquiry.

I amplify your inner knowing in tune with your instincts and intuition. Helping you develop a skill set for self-health guided by your unique power.

Who is the best you? Have you forgotten? Let me help you remember

Live Your Highest Frequency

Reclaim your treasured rhythms. Celebrate your strengths and understand your qualities.  Realize your relevance.

Movement is my power place

At a young age I won a gymnastics scholarship that propelled me into a lifelong study of dance and movement. Dancing at The College of Wooster modern dance company in High School saved my young adult life, introducing me to African dance and planting the seeds to go on to study somatic dance therapy and yoga forms like Continuum, Authentic Movement, Feldenkrais, Contemplative dance, Tibetan Heart Yoga, Anusara Yoga, and Primal Vinyasa. Dance therapy, yoga, and massage were integral to healing my own tailbone fracture, PTSD and fibromyalgia.

Nature is my refuge

I grew up enchanted by the natural world. Playing with my sisters in our “Fairy Forest” and talking daily to the family of rolly-pollies living in the apple orchard. Little did I know how much those bugs would foreshadow my path of purpose. To help folks transform the poisons, in their bodily tissues, mental thoughts, and daily habits, into medicine. I learned this for myself first. After massage school, all the loads of receiving bodywork and being a guinea pig sent my body and emotions into overload. Because I had never processed unresolved trauma from sexual violation, all the bodywork uncovered deep sadness that manifested into systemic pain. I knew I was not ready to touch other people with all of this going on. I decided to focus on offering Alchemical Healing energy work in my clinic and went into serious self-work to heal my systemic pain and fibromyalgia through self-inquiry, dance therapy, and food consciousness. Of course healing trauma is a process of continual clearing and making new pathways. I knew when I had resolved things enough that I wouldn’t be transferring my trauma story to someone else. That’s the key! To empty yourself completely in order to facilitate healing. My full time massage clinic has been in service for 13 years.

Service is my thru line

Living Body Earth

Devotion to honoring Mother Earth and our relationship to Nature is the thru line in all of my work and services. Especially informed by forest dwelling years that came early, living in my handmade Yurt, off the grid, for 10 years on Vashon Island in the Puget Sound. Hauling water, chopping wood and roaming the woods in silence.

As part of the Sustainability Movement and Peak Oil, I organized festivals around ecology, wellness, and performing arts.  I learned stilt walking at Burning Man and used that skill in public parades, protests and performances.

As an Earth Care Provider and Protector, I served as an Non-Indian human rights witness for Dineh elders resisting forced relocation from their homelands for coal extraction. I also participated in supporting tree-sits and saving old-growth forests.

My activist days were hard and emotionally draining. That sent me seeking tools for transforming the grief for the habitat and indigenous losses on Mother Earth, gratefully finding two of my most influential teachers: Starhawk and Joanna Macy. Their teachings inform how I  facilitate sacred circles for human discovery and seasonal celebration.

Living Body Earth is how I describe our interdependence to the health of Mother Earth for our health as humans.  Our bodies echo the Earth’s body.  Doing the work and finding the resources to heal ourselves serves for our awareness to expand and become more thoughtful humans living in right relationship with the Earth.
